I use Photoshop, so some of the tools I use can be specific to this software. Every picture is different, but most of the time, the first steps are really similar. Okay, people usually don’t say it that way, but while posting my pictures for the TS4 Edit Challenge, a received some messages asking me how I do that.

You may recolor my mesh, but please DO NOT include it in your download. In the pack you will also find two psd if you want to recolor the sims’ skintones/eyes/hair/etc. I’d like to make an alpha version of a pack like this, too, if I can get permission from some creators. Also, for this pack I’ve stuck with all Maxis features (skin, eyes, hair, outfits).
Now, since these are taken from the Studio base model, unfortunately they all have the same face. You should be able to find them by typing “sim” or “deco sim”, but they are all $5 and are under sculptures/misc deco/clutter. There are four seated poses (two males, two females) and four walking poses (same idea). They each come with three skintones and two outfits. In this pack you will find 8 deco sims, each with 6 swatches (except the seated guy in the suit). Posing a thousand sims is a royal pain, and the deco models that are out there don’t match the appearance of the game.
So I always have a lot of scenes in my story that use a ton of background characters. Deco Sims - because background characters are a pain in the ass
